The specific mac series is as its name suggests, matte. So it is logical to expect a drier texture. It requires well-hydrated lips to avoid cracking. Of course, the lipstick does not come off, it is very long-lasting. Also, the color payoff is very intense even with a light hand, as seen in the video. Is it expensive? Yes, obviously, but we are talking about a very reliable product and a guaranteed brand.

Excellent lipstick with a satisfying duration, spreads evenly and very easily while feeling lightweight on the lips. I also have the Russian Red from the same line and both are wonderful. The Antique Velvet was slightly darker than I expected but still very nice. It is a bit more expensive than what I usually spend on lipstick, but it truly is worth its money.

To me, it does not have a very good application on the lips. It feels like it breaks and leaves gaps no matter how much quantity I put. In order not to waste it now that I bought it, I put a lip gloss on top and it doesn't show. I give it 2 stars because of the company that has other good products.

The Russian Red is an excellent red. Opaque, it doesn't smudge, it applies easily, it doesn't bleed much at the edges, I generally feel it is stable. Clearly, after hours or eating/smoking, it will start to fade, but I am satisfied with the overall performance.

I tried the shade Mehr due to the positive reviews. It is a very dark rose, definitely not suitable for all skin tones. On my fair skin and brown hair, it was a very harsh shade. If you want something soft and relatively nude pink, this is not the color for you.

The color is beautiful! Natural, nude but without making you look pale. However, it is very matte, it needs good hydration before applying it. That's what I don't really like. Especially if you have pronounced lines on your lips, it will make them even more pronounced. But the color is very good!
