I have been using it for 4 years and I have been amazed. Previously, I had a Tefal, I tried one from IKEA, one from Vicko, and two others from brands that I can't remember now. They all had the same problem, the steam had to come out and the valve had to whistle. This specific one, as soon as it reaches temperature, I lower the temperature to 2 and it doesn't release any steam for the rest of the time. This is very important, especially in winter when you have closed windows. The only negative thing is that after four years, the handle broke off from the lid because it is very sensitive. I have posted a photo of it, you can see it in the front part with the blue caps. The replacement I ordered costs 33 euros and from what I read, they have reinforced it in that area. I have a post and a photo of the new handle, and of course, I think its price is overpriced. There are many others in the market for around fifty euros. I bought it for 150 euros, I don't think it's worth that much. The difference is big and of course, they are no longer made in Germany, they are manufactured in China. The biggest advantage for me is that it doesn't continue to release steam while cooking, and just for that, it's worth it, I believe. All the other brands release steam while cooking. As for the food, I can assure you with great certainty that after trying at least four brands all these years, they have similar cooking times and taste. The rubber needs to be replaced depending on the usage, it starts at 8 euros for an imitation one online, in stores it's over 15 euros, and it's not easy to find the small size for 6 liters, while the large size for 8 to 10 liters is very easy to find. I give it 4 stars only because of the price and the sensitive handle that broke, if they have actually improved it in the new one, it doesn't have any other issues. The evaluation has been made because of the 6-liter pot, the difference with the 8-liter one is only in size, all the other elements are the same compared to other pots. It is narrow and tall, I don't think there is another pot in this style, most of them have the same width as the 8-liter one. The advantage is that you can easily cover your food with water, unlike when it's wide. However, the disadvantage is that when you want to brown your meat, the bottom is too narrow, you have to do it in two batches. The only problem is with browning, but in cooking, I can say that it is an advantage that it is narrow and tall. I am coming back as soon as I changed the rubber, I found it through Skroutz basket from a store in Aigaleo for 13 euros, the original one. If you search for it, you will find it easily

A major disadvantage is the lack of adjustment in the first position of the valve. Basically, it only cooks in position 2. If I had known, I wouldn't have bought it, but I would have chosen the other model with adjustable pressure. In essence, it is not suitable for vegetables and legumes. Only meat.

I was the owner of a Carina since '88. The valve broke, spare parts are not available so buying a new pressure cooker is the only option. New technology, faster cooking times, lighter, all good except for one observation, it's too tall. It could be like the old ones, wider and shorter. A little downside. It's not possible to live without a pressure cooker when you work and have a family. I recommend it. Also, if there is the financial possibility, prefer the quad set.

I didn't even bother looking for another company when I wanted the pressure cooker, it's really very good. It is heavy and well made, from a safety point of view what they have done with the button and the indication that it has closed correctly or not is very smart. Overall excellent. Well, I have been using it consistently since I bought it. The quantity is ideal for one person and for three. For one person, I do not recommend the smallest one because it is worth the money to buy a larger one. If you are going to buy it and you are one person, it is better to buy the 8-liter one so that you have some left. Besides, it is an excellent construction. What they say about scratches on the bottom inside is true, they happen easily but they are not serious scratches. Just when it is new inside, the bottom is brand new and with use, some scratches appear, but in no way scratches that worry that the material may be corroded like the pots we know. Not even close! The construction is very sturdy, you don't feel anything and the bottom is overall made of steel and even if you want, it doesn't get deeply scratched. I save a lot of money on electricity and cooking time. It is expensive but guys, it is a very sturdy construction and it is one of those that last. Also, the pressure system is very safe.

We never had a pressure cooker... now I want to get another one for my parents. The food cooks very quickly, the meat becomes tender, and the legumes don't need to be boiled for hours.
If it doesn't close properly (some people at home had difficulty the first few times because they didn't want to read the instructions), it simply loses water from the lid (logical since we didn't close it properly). The 6L size is a bit big for 2 people, but we were used to cooking larger portions anyway (logical since without a pressure cooker, it takes a long time).

I recently bought the 8lt Vitaquick pressure cooker. After carefully reading the instructions, I used a pressure cooker for the first time in my life and cooking was a breeze! It is very important for someone to read the instructions before using it so as not to encounter problems such as scratching the bottom, water leaks, valve detachment, which are some of the disadvantages I have read in the reviews, but these are actually the result of incorrect use due to ignorance of the instructions. The first meal I made was done in a quarter of the time, 1 minute sautéing the onion on level 5, 2 minutes boiling the water with the legumes on level 9, but 3 minutes boiling with the lid closed until the valve rises to the first notch and then lowering it to level 1 for 10 minutes and that was it... I closed my eyes and let the valve come down completely before opening the lid. The dish was ready and the house was odorless. The same process with a regular pot would take at least 40 minutes. I highly recommend it for someone who follows instructions and does not cook empirically from previous cookware. The size is large for 2 people but the purchase was made with the prospect of using it for the family. Also, the fact that it is wide and short personally suits me better than being narrow and tall.

Honestly, I wonder how we lived without a pressure cooker! Since I got married, I heard relatives telling me how dangerous it is, etc... That's why I bought and got the theoretically best pressure cooker on the market! There is no chance of an accident with the systems it has if you follow the instructions correctly, accidents happened with older generation cookers! We got it in December 2022 and we had it for a month and still didn't cook out of fear! I cooked 3 times alone in the kitchen and then taught my wife, mostly for the time!
For so many years, I feel sorry for my wife for the time she wasted cooking and the trouble she went through! Now, even if I feel lazy to cook, everything is done in record time, my wife doesn't go hungry when she works irregular hours!
Now, about the food, much tastier, no need for extra water, no waiting for 10 years! The first meal I made was chickpeas in 18 minutes and with excellent results, neither mushy nor tasteless, the kids ate two plates! The beef is melt-in-your-mouth in 20 minutes! I'm not good with spices because I still can't digest that some need 5-6 minutes! It really is the best purchase I have made for the kitchen in the 18 years I have been married!
I got the 8-liter one and for a family of four, it is enough (to eat once and have leftovers for two more plates), it definitely cooks for six as well, but I don't want to take any chances, I thought it's better to have enough rather than insufficient! It is very easy to use, you put the food, close the lid, as soon as the piston rises to the first or second line (depending on what you are cooking), you turn the heat to 1/3, I have it on 9 so I turn it to 3, you set the timer (depending on what you are making), lemony pork 16 minutes, braised beef 20 minutes, chickpeas 18 minutes, lentils 14 minutes (these are our own times depending on how each person cooks and eats), as soon as the timer goes off, you press the pressure release button, it releases the steam and the wonderful aromas, and once the indicator turns red, you open it, everything is ready! Note that the thick bottom makes the food continue to cook even when you have taken the cooker off the heat! SUPER EASY!

I have had it for twelve (12) years, so I can be completely objective. I have two Fissler pots that my mother bought in 1986 and they cook better than the ones I received as a gift from a well-known store. I had, before this one, a pressure cooker from another manufacturer, for obvious reasons I do not mention which one. Well, it is safe to use, absolutely safe, fast, and reliable. So many years, so many meals, it didn't even ask for a gasket. No problem at all. I have been using it for 7 months. I fell in love with it from the first cooking, octopus in wine in 20 minutes. Beef in 45 minutes instead of the 4 hours it used to take. As a pressure cooker, it is quite good, but when you want to do a quick release of the pressure from the valve, it releases liquids. When I tried it at first with water, there was no problem, but with food, I wait for it to lose pressure and temperature on its own for about 15 minutes and then I do a quick release. Fissler once again Fissler. I had the old model of Fissler, the Quatro (with some blue flowers), since 2006 and the only thing I had changed in all these years was the rubber once. Recently, however, I had a problem with the safety valve. I replaced them because I changed my kitchen from ceramic to induction, and unfortunately, the old model did not work on induction stoves. Of course, when I got the new Fissler Vitaquick 10lt pressure cooker and read the instructions, I realized that I was not using my old cookers correctly. The Fissler Vitaquick is very easy to use and to close the lid. It does not stick if it has the necessary liquid for our food, as long as we stir occasionally with the lid open. It has a dosimeter inside. It does not leak any liquid and it is silent. If it starts to whistle, it means that the temperature has risen too high and you must lower the heat on your stove if you do not want to lose the liquid from your food. It is easy to clean as both handles can be easily removed from the lid for proper washing. It has two cooking positions, low and high, which can be adjusted naturally by the intensity or reduction of the stove temperature. It works perfectly and very quickly on induction stoves to the point where I can't even prepare my ingredients in time. So it is good to have them ready before you start cooking. For example, approximately 1 liter of water with half a kilo of lentils started boiling in 1 minute (on induction stoves). So, if you carefully read the instructions for using the pressure cooker and follow them, you will not have any problems with any of your dishes. Everything will turn out wonderfully.
