Remove oxidation. Use painter's tape to cover the painted parts around the headlight. Make sure the headlight is clean and dry.
- Open a Cleaning/oxidation removal package and take out the wipe.
- Keep it folded throughout to avoid quick evaporation of the material.
- Firmly rub the headlight, applying even pressure across the entire surface. You will notice the oxidation residues receding.
- Turn the wipe to the other side and keep it folded.
- Continue cleaning until no residue appears on the wipe.
- Open a second package and continue cleaning with steady pressure for the next two minutes.
Note: Even if your headlight appears clean, additional cleaning is necessary to ensure the oxidation is removed.
- Seal with UV protection. Make sure the surface is dry before applying the sealant.
- For best results, first clean the surface with a lint-free towel.
- Open the package and take out the wipe.
- Apply the product to the headlight surface, cleaning in one direction as if applying a coat of paint.
- One wipe is sufficient for two headlights.
- If needed, use the second one.
- Allow the surface to dry thoroughly for about 3 hours.
- Do not touch the surface and avoid contact with water.
If spots and streaks appear due to contact with water before the headlight dries, repeat with new wipes.
Note: Drying time depends on weather conditions. It may take longer in cases of low or high humidity. Also, avoid contact with painted surfaces.
