The product is really good, I have connected it to a fast switch and I transfer files from my PC to the other floor with really impressive speeds, probably limited by the wifi of my laptop (~80 Mbytes/sec, i.e. 640 Mbit), better than the smallnetbuilder test. You can feel the chipset from the connection speed that it has a fast processor, so logically it will be able to handle many clients simultaneously. The beamforming is incredible, where you have a weak signal, as soon as you sit still the speed almost reaches its maximum and the latency becomes tolerable. All of the above I more or less knew and expected, what made me excited is the QoS, for the first time I didn't need to adjust anything, specifically the wifi multimedia extensions (WMM / WME) work so well that the TV is not affected by other devices even when I stream movies at 150Mbit, in all the other routers I had in the past, to achieve acceptable results, I spent many hours with rules and tests and almost always disabled WMM because with them there was noticeably slower speed, here Qualcomm has achieved a new reality. I don't have enough devices that support MU-MIMO, so I can't comment on it, although I doubt how it can work positively in a 2x2 MIMO device. I write the following comments not so much for the product as to help some users make the right choice. All routers/access points of this type, that is, those that have the all-in-one 2.4 Ghz/5 Ghz chip from Qualcomm, do not have the range that we are used to, roughly it has less than 2/3 of the range (always in 2.4 Ghz) compared to the ZTE of OTE or the expensive ASUS/NETGEAR that have a separate chip for 2.4 Ghz. In 2.4 Ghz, it does not exceed 70-80 Mbit, while the above routers with a good wifi card, the tests say that they exceed 100Mbit (of course, I still haven't managed to exceed 90Mbit with any of my devices). When I connect many devices simultaneously using both frequencies, the speed drops dramatically, much higher than VDSL but not satisfactory for simultaneous file transfers, something that does not happen with good routers with separate chips for each frequency. If you don't disable air time fairness, some clients will go very slowly when others exhaust it, something that also does not happen so intensely with good routers, a logical explanation for this I cannot find. Generally, I would not recommend it in any case for use with devices in 2.4Ghz, yes it works but it is like something supplementary and significantly delays the main connections in 5Ghz. The TP-Link firmware and controller have nothing to do with professional products, I use it without the software and even though I lose some capabilities, in the tests I did it disappointed me (yes, I have done all the updates). I would not recommend it to replace networks with many old access points from Cisco / Aruba, etc., even compared to Netgear, the difference in software is noticeable from the first moment, in my opinion, they should not even sell it as an enterprise product and advertise their software controller so much.
