Let me clarify that the 4* is for the retro feel and revival of the old school console era.

The price, in my opinion, is unrealistic.

I bought it a few years ago when it first came out for around 40-50 euros if I remember correctly, and that's as much as I would pay.

Regarding the games and functionality, I have nothing more to add than what the previous speakers have already mentioned. They covered everything for me

-does not have a power adapter, I used the first one I found in front of me and it burned it, it worked with the iPhone's.
-limited variety of games for the money it asks.
-short cable on the controller, you have to sit very close to play, which in combination with a short hdmi, you cannot play on many inches.

For those who used to own the old NES and generally for retro gamers, it is the best thing there is. It includes most of the well-known NES games and with mods, you can get even more. Nicely designed and easy to use. Highly recommended.

For retro and reminiscing carefree youth of the 80s', I don't even discuss it, it's all about the console, but there is no comparison with modern gaming consoles. If you are a fan of pixels and seeking your lost childhood innocence, NES is the way to go, with eyes closed...

Very good, but do not give money to -let alone say what- who bought many pieces to sell them at double and triple price. Wait until 2018 when a new batch will be released.

For 69€ it's worth its money. Nice to spend your time. One negative thing I found is that the controller cable is small.

On the many positives, it is the build quality, the UI, the unbeatable controller with the D-pad, and overall the feeling of reliving a more playful era.

The price is terrible even though I grew up with this console, it's only worth 70 euros for the nostalgia.. You can play these games anywhere now, on mobiles, tablets, and computers. The graphics are not good despite the HDMI and the response on a big screen is somewhat slow

Excellent console for a lifetime. The price is a bit high but the digital market of all 30 Wii games costs over 70€. Calculate that you need to get an extension of 4-5€ because the controller is too short. The build quality is at Nintendo's high levels.

It's simply perfect... The only issue is that it only has 30 options in games while there are many other worthwhile games that are not included...

If we exclude the inadequacy of the control pad, otherwise those who grew up in the '80s will find themselves in a very pleasant surprise. Thirty games, all of them excellent (there could be other gems as well, but if we get into this discussion we will never finish) are installed on the NES Mini for endless gaming. Definitely grab a second controller, you will need it!

Faithful replica of the first ever Nintendo console with worldwide success. The ONLY difference in appearance is the size of the console, which is much smaller (fits comfortably in the hand), while the controller is exactly the same as the original from the 80s.

As an old gamer, I believe that this specific console should not be missing from any gamer yet, even for those who do not belong to this particular generation. Therefore, its purchase is imperative, for the old to remember and for the new to learn

I have placed the NES on my PC (for power) and I play with the PC screen through its HDMI (I also have the PS3 set up this way), the controller cable is long enough, although I thought it would be shorter (about 10cm). Some games bring back memories, but not all of them, maybe if they used some other cool titles, I believe it would be a little better!

The NES is a legend, so for anyone interested in reliving it, it is probably a necessary purchase. Especially during the Christmas season, it is just what you need to make someone happy.

Money is tight when you consider how much a top new game costs. Only the controller cable should have been longer, but these graphics require a 24-inch monitor, not a 40-inch one from the couch.

It has a very short cable, it connects directly to the TV via USB, and the games are pre-installed without the ability to add new ones. So when you buy it, you play what it has. It's a nice geeky gift that is not very expensive and brings back childhood memories :D

An excellent choice for a retro gaming enthusiast. It represents a console from a great era for gaming, but made to fit today's standards, with HDMI output and its small compact design, as well as compatibility with the Wii Classic Controller. Truly exceptional!

A perfect implementation of a historical console from NINTENDO for old fans to reminisce and new fans to learn, everything works smoothly and quickly. Of course, it could have the option to add your own games, but it already includes 30 of the best titles ever released.
As many have mentioned, the controller cable could be longer. Personally, I believe it's ideal to have the console close by for easy access to the RESET button, which needs to be pressed frequently. However, for those who insist and find it inconvenient, they can purchase an extension cable to make their lives easier.

Excellent. Maximum value for money, especially now that it is available at regular price. Amazing collection of NES games. Some gems were left out, but how can you choose only 30 games from the NES library. The display options are very good (especially the pixel perfect mode, but also the CRT for more retro experiences). The only negative (hence the 4 stars) is the length of the controller cable, which is quite short (a result of the protocol used to make the NES controllers compatible with the Wii/Wii U and the classic Wii controllers compatible with the NES). This can be fixed by using a cable extension. Highly recommended as a gift for young and old alike.
