These are the two poles, and the Spanish soul revolves around them: passion, longing, the warm embrace of life; and at the same time, the feeling that all of this is nothing, it is Nothing, and that death is our great heir.
But the stronger a strong soul has the feeling of Nothing, the more intensely it lives every temporary, futile moment.
Death is always the most intense stimulant for strong souls.
