I have had it for a month now, I bought it for purely winter use within the city. Heavy like armor, high-quality construction, and in terms of value for money, it has no competition. Some details for those interested:
- Perfect in terms of airtightness, nothing gets through, I haven't encountered any significant rain so far.
- The external pockets have openings both from the side and with lining, very convenient for hands when you need to rest and walk.
- The internal linings do not have a single, semi-circular zipper but two side zippers and a loop at the top. The connection seems less sturdy but it has the advantage that you can pull the waterproof lining higher up on the neck, above the outer shell. However, a neck warmer is necessary in the cold. By the way, I still haven't come across a motorcycle jacket with a truly high neck (like the political ones) and I still wonder why.
- The collar around the neck is quite tight. I have a normal neck and I have to fasten it with effort (obviously at the loosest adjustment).
- The first point where you will feel "coolness" is the inside of the elbows. It doesn't leak from anywhere (checked), it's just that the line is narrow in that specific area and it sticks to the arm. I'm talking about below 5°C, nothing tragic, just a slightly unusual sensation that I hadn't experienced before.
- The patches on the sleeves are with Velcro and can be removed (some people are bothered by the Greek flag...)
- The light gray variation is as beautiful as it looks - if you involve your wife, she won't leave you any other choice.
