The Uptown by Caberg is a jet helmet, which, thanks to its open design at the bottom of the face, can be put on and taken off with ease. It is considered one of the lightest types of helmets, however, it leaves a large area of the face uncovered, therefore it is less safe compared to a full-face helmet. It is made of composite fibre, that is, from synthetic fibers that make it flexible and resistant to shock absorption. It fastens with a microlock, which allows you to fasten it easily and quickly. The helmet has European safety certification "ECE 22.05", which ensures that the helmet is tested for drop, impact, and object penetration. Additionally, it features a sun visor, which is an internal sunshade film, like glass, for protection from the sun.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
It's not worth its money. After a year and a half of use, the strap's clasp broke. The glass scratches very easily, although it has good visibility. If it cost around 80, I would buy it again, but I wouldn't spend 150 on it for any reason
The helmet is unacceptable. The quality of construction is unacceptable. The assembly points have come off from their glues. The screw that tightens the glass has damaged threads and the whole glass constantly comes off while riding. 115 euros wasted.
