    It seems sturdy but personally I don't think it's enough on its own. Useful if used in combination with a lock/chain and alarm. Mine is overly sensitive and with a slight shake of the handlebar it starts beeping. The alarm is indeed not very loud.

    I have been using this lock for about a year now. It is easy to use and does its job (more like a deterrent because if someone decides to break it, I don't think they will have much difficulty). The decibel level of the alarm could be a bit higher, as in the first place I live, it is not very audible. Additionally, it should be a bit more sensitive as many times it requires a significant amount of shaking to activate. It has not been triggered any night for a year now, and I hope it never will be!

    Very good construction... it looks sturdy, strong alarm and the good thing is that it doesn't activate with the slightest touch!!! In terms of placement on the plate, I haven't found the right way to activate the alarm yet (I just bought it yesterday - 10/05/22) and sometimes I have to press the activation button with my finger... Other than that, it's a good purchase and I highly recommend it!!! I will come back regarding the correct way to activate the alarm... it turns out it's much easier than I thought...

    I have had it for about 1 month. So far, I am generally satisfied. It locks and unlocks easily. You can lock it without setting the alarm if you want. What bothers me is that the alarm is easily activated, so when I try to take off the hood, it goes off. I believe I will find a way not to activate it. The alarm is discreet and generally not very audible.

    Very good. I have had it since 2014 and it is still like new. The construction quality is exceptional to perfect. Its alarm works perfectly. It is on the motorcycle in all seasons - winter, summer, with snow, ice, and scorching heat of 42 degrees in the summer. It doesn't suffer any damage. The alarm operates with two AAA batteries, but I only use lithium batteries to avoid any issues with high temperatures and to prevent them from dying in the winter with sub-zero temperatures. It can be used normally even without the alarm activated
