It is definitely effective. I bought it after several laser sessions. So my hair was already weakened. And yet it still burned even the fine hairs. It heats up quite quickly though. And it is also a time-consuming process.

Generally, the lighter your skin and the darker your hair, the faster the results are. I, on the other hand, have the opposite situation, so the progress is quite slow. I also believe that light-based hair removal machines are more suitable for men who simply want hair thinning and minimal reduction, rather than for women who want a radical reduction. For a radical reduction, you would need to go for Alexandrite laser, etc., as it is impossible to achieve radical reduction with this machine. The surface area is small and it takes relatively longer to finish. Reduction results do come, but for me personally, it takes a long time. You generally need to work with it many times to see reduction. However, the machine is fine for its intended purpose and there is no need to go for other machines that cost 300+€.
