Very nice fragrance for everyday use, especially in the summer you wear it after a shower and you feel super clean. You can even wear it at the gym or at work. Very affordable but minimal lasting power, it doesn't last more than 20 minutes. I suggest getting a similar type where it's even cheaper and has a longer duration.

Well, I bought it just for testing due to its low price at 16€. While I liked it more in a physical store than online, it's not that good and I got it from a very well-known website. Although it's refreshing as a scent and perfect for summer, it has something sour that detracts a lot from it. Possible purchase again in the future, definitely not.

Three years later, Pierre Bourdon, the best perfumer ever in my opinion, used the successful formula he knew and created Davidoff Cool Water. An affordable fragrance with unique characteristics, very close to Green Irish Tweed. The fragrance was loved like no other and established a tobacco company in the fragrance industry, expressing the cool and daring spirit of the brand.
Cool Water was not targeted towards a specific age group of consumers. People bought it as a first fragrance for their child, but also as a fragrance for their grandfather. In 2008-9, the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) imposed restrictions on the use of oakmoss in fragrances due to its allergenic properties, resulting in many fragrances revising their composition and using synthetic materials to remain as close as possible to the original.
Among these fragrances was Cool Water. After the reformulation, its new composition was about 70-80% close to the original, with the drydown being even closer, while the opening differed, emitting a synthetic note that you would perceive (as if it smelled freshness from laundry detergent). Today, 15 years later and after several revisions, it remains the most popular fragrance. With over 200+ fragrances in my collection, I will occasionally spray Cool Water on myself, not so much for the fragrance it is today, but to remind me of the fragrance it was back then. Even today, there are a few pieces of the original composition, which you can find on the market under the name Davidoff Cool Water Original Lancaster, and you will recognize them by the different bottle and the different font on the packaging.
Cool Water is a fragrance that can be worn daily and is suitable for all seasons. Its longevity is good, and the combination of aromatic elements makes it ideal for men who desire a cool, yet masculine fragrance with versatile use. It is worth noting that Cool Water remains popular despite changes in its composition over time, and it is one of the best fragrances you can buy for the money.
For those seeking an aromatic and refreshing fragrance to accompany them daily, Cool Water is an excellent choice worth trying.

No, it's not realistic or a high-quality fragrance. It's not modern either, but it is simple, happy, and even today, I prefer to smell it on other people rather than something like Eros, Sauvage, CDNI. The review concerns the Davidoff Cool Water Oceanic Edition (DCW-O), for those interested in purchasing this limited edition because for some strange reason, the reviews of different DCW editions appear consolidated on skroutz.
For some time now, after the limited edition Davidoff CW Summer 2019, these flankers have been experimenting with scents that do not resemble the original DCW, breaking the tradition that editions like DCW Ice Fresh, DCW Pacific Summer, DCW Caribbean Summer, and DCW Coolest should closely resemble the original.
So, DCW-O is actually a cool but at the same time metallic/synthetic fragrance that one would say is the EDT version of the DCW Parfum of 2021. The DCW Parfum, which you probably know, was unfortunately named that way because neither this nor the slightly older DCW Intense EDP resembled the classic DCW at all. The real DCW Parfum, the one that would be a truly richer and longer-lasting DCW, has not yet been released.
In this geography of the various DCWs, DCW-O is positioned next to DCW Parfum as a weaker version of it. So I don't see a strong reason to prefer it given the low price of DCW Parfum. It's not bad, but it doesn't stand out.Translated from Greek ·- Packaging

Purchase after a very good experience from Intense (no relation to the original. Completely different scent) while I wanted something more than my good memory from the simple cool water edt that I wore in my early 20s. Slight disappointment, I could say. Sweet and refreshing, not aggressive at all, people pleasing. Minimal ambroxan. On my skin (I have difficult chemistry) moderate duration, 2-3 hours. Sillage almost nonexistent, projection also almost nonexistent. It is an OK everyday scent, but more for you to feel good wearing it, especially if you are young/inexperienced in the field of men's fragrances, but its price does not correspond to what you get in return. At 25 euros it would be OK for the 50ml, which with frequent use of 6-7 sprays that are necessary for this one, lasts you for 2 months of use.

Well-known fragrance that has set the standards for aquatic scents. Adding another opinion on how it smells is redundant, as it is difficult for someone not to already know. However, what I would like to help clarify is a misconception that exists: the fragrance you have purchased is most likely genuine. The reason the font has slightly changed is because the company changed it. Unfortunately, ever since Coty took over Davidoff, not only did the font change, but it seems they also changed the essence of this once beautiful fragrance. Not that it ever had exceptional longevity as a scent, but it had a richer aroma.
