    In RAID1 (mirroring) mode, the controller burned out after 6 months of use. Thankfully, I got my money back, but what good is it if you lose all your data! It's unacceptable and not recommended for someone who needs it for always-on operation!

    I installed a Sandisk SSD Plus 1TB 2.5'' SATA III: it didn't recognize it...
    I use it in Single mode where it works perfectly for 8 years. Using two SSDs, the enclosure is completely silent.
