Excellent machine. It saved me a lot of time. Very convenient that it scans simultaneously from both sides (two lamps). It scans easily smaller papers, not just A4. Very fast scanning.

It was purchased for a law firm in order to scan double-sided documents. The machine is a lifesaver! It scans everything quickly! I highly recommend it!

Very good machine solved our hands the only problem was the installation on the network that required a lot of study and a little luck!

The brother brand, I didn't believe it still exists, but in the market research I did, I saw that there is some collaboration and it is the manufacturer of all DELL printers/scanners.

It was purchased for scanning documents/contracts, etc. for a law firm.
It scans editable pdfs at 25 pages per minute front/back (thus 50 pages)!
And it's even faster without OCR!
I couldn't believe it, so I timed it. 26 pages/13 sheets in 30 seconds in editable pdf.

Certainly, for OCR it needs a pass through something like abbyy, but without any preparation, it achieves 99% accuracy. Not even abbyy itself has 99% accuracy in OCR.

Also, there is no need for someone to connect it to a desktop/laptop since it works on the network.
If you want, it has the option of USB/Ethernet, but it's not necessary.

You download the brother application on your desktop/laptop/android/iphone/tablet, I saw that it even has rpm/deb for Linux, you place your documents on the scanner and press scan, and you receive them on your device!

It is quite expensive, but it will make its money back from the scans we used to outsource and from the time it saved us! 5*

I use it at work in an accounting office. The machine is a beast, I wonder what I did all these years without it. It's fast as hell, efficient with flawless analysis and endless options. It's pretty easy to use and can be connected in any way you want (wifi, network, USB, wireless with mobile, etc.). And as if all that wasn't enough, you also get an expensive program as a gift for PDF editing, etc. It may not seem cheap, but it's definitely value for money.

UPD almost a year later: We got engaged and we're getting married this summer, thanks to the pandemic. The machine is ESSENTIAL for a professional. It has saved me countless hours of work.

Recently purchased (Feb 2021) for professional use and the first impressions are very good. Fast, high-quality, and with very good and user-friendly software. Excellent in every aspect. I hope it will last for years.

2.5 years later and not a single issue. I can't describe it any further!

Perfect scanner in all aspects. Extremely fast scanning (120 A4 pages at 400 dpi resolution takes about 1 minute!!!!). It has a very user-friendly menu and amazing software on the accompanying CD for converting pages to PDF. I have nothing else to say except get it with your eyes closed because it's super in everything!!!
