Windows recognize the device as a WebCam with the drivers you install.

1. The default image resolution it provides is 640x480 when PAL is 720x576, so you need to upscale the image to claim that you are converting it to Standard Definition.
2. The image is more pixelated than the lowest resolution on YouTube.
3. The software they offer is not good at all, you have to use another one.

If you want to have an image without significant loss, it is better to choose another device.

Well, basically I managed to play a cassette after 4 failed attempts.
Insert, remove, insert, remove, sometimes the PC would read it, sometimes not.
Since then, it never worked again. The image shakes, there is snow, lines.
It was tested on 2 different PCs, with its own program.
TIP: You should know that it also works with OBS, which I tried but still the same issues.
Poor quality, and that's why the price is low.
It's better to buy a PCI video card that works much better.

For the money, it's very good. Good image and sound quality. The only problem is the drivers. (3 stars for this reason). The CD that comes with it doesn't work at all on Windows 10. The store where I bought it replaced it for me, but still nothing. After 2 days of trying, I downloaded the EasyCAP_DC60 application from the internet and installed it. Now it works great.

1. Difficult to install:
It is quite difficult for Windows 7 to recognize the USB. I managed to do it after many attempts, but after 2 days, it lost connection again and now I can't make it work. (I am in the IT field)
2. No installation CD: They sent me a link and instructions to download the software and install it.

Big fail. I bought it to record old cassettes on my computer, but unfortunately you get what you pay for. The image was incredibly shaky left-right and also when I tried to disconnect the cable from the CVBS socket, it came off its base and it was the first time I used it. Seriously, don't waste your money, and if you want to transfer your cassettes to the computer, invest in a more expensive device.

For its price, it really does its job.
I have transferred two videos so far from an old cassette video camera to the computer.
The quality is quite good and the sound is equally good.

For its price, it is quite good and does its job perfectly fine. The major problem (hence the 3 stars) is that the cassettes usually get cloudy and white from the back and over the years they are stored. So, if the cassette you are trying to fix has clouds and the image cuts off for a while, then it desynchronizes and the image and sound are in different places. Very negative because I didn't know about it and I was recording a 3-hour cassette and as soon as the recording finished, I realized that the image was in one place and the sound was in another. However, if the cassette is still clean, it does the job perfectly for which you will buy it, and it is very cheap

I bought it and it didn't work at all. Sometimes only the sound is heard but there is never any image displayed. All my devices are Windows 10. No matter what drivers I tried, it didn't work. It might work on older systems. In my case, I wasted my money.

Cheap product that saves you a lot of expenses. I wanted to convert cassettes to mp4 files and if I did it in a store, it would cost a lot. With just 10 bucks, the job was done immediately, the program is amazing and the resolution is perfect.

Fast installation, good recording program. Fast and easy recording with connected video.
