This book deals with an important and timely topic in the Pedagogy of the School, microteaching. In the first part, the subject of microteaching is scientifically established, models of microteaching applied internationally and in the Greek-speaking area are presented, and a review of the most important Greek-speaking and foreign-language relevant literature is provided. In the second part, the research findings are presented, interpreted, and discussed, and relevant proposals are formulated that can be useful in Schools of Education and Teacher Training. In the third part, examples of teaching skills exercises applied in microteaching are presented.

    Microteaching is to teach a lesson to 5 students for 5-20 minutes, to try out various teaching techniques, and to videotape your lesson. Microteaching is a method for someone to learn how to teach, so they watch their videotaped lesson, learn from their mistakes, and from the evaluation of their students.

    Now the book is actually a research on Greek universities to see if students believe that microteaching is useful. The book is divided into 3 parts, the first part mentions what microteaching is and the literature, the second part (half of the book) is the results of the research - students' opinions on microteaching - and finally, in the third part (last 35 pages) it provides examples on how to do microteaching, which I believe is why we bought this book and for the exams of EOPPEP (Adult Educators).
