I have had the basic FWS for 1.5 years (without the 60257), which does not have a cushion where you step. I bought the FWS 60257. And in both, I have sewn the (detachable) cover and it is much better this way (you remove it once a year, wash it, put it back on). Differences between the two: The new one has a cushion, the old one does not. In the new one, it takes longer for the heat to reach your feet with the cushion, but if you remove it, it warms up very quickly - so I took it off immediately. By comparison, the level 1 of the new one is the same and stronger than level 3 of the basic one (this may be because the old one has been used a lot - I don't remember how it was in the beginning). Finally, the 60257 is more ergonomic in shape compared to the basic one. So, the 60257 is definitely recommended - and overall, I am very satisfied. Just in all of these, it would be good to put something on top to prevent the heat from escaping.

It does not warm the feet even if you put it on "3", the highest setting.. What a pity. Money wasted and I wonder if the store will accept it back...
