It only works on new stones and until the body gets used to it, at which point it simply stops working. Whether something changes in the body or not can be measured by the user with a pH meter (single-use strips). Whether it works can be seen with ultrasound/CT scan.

It cannot be a permanent solution. It does not solve the long-term problem of creating new stones. If it fits as a formula for a patient with a small fresh stone, it may slightly smooth the sharp edges of the stone and help the body expel it. Up to that point. With chronic stones that have been in the kidneys for years, it does absolutely nothing.

When it first came to market, it included pH test strips which were crucial to see if it works in one's body. For about a year now, the pH test strips are not included in the packages, so 2 stars down, just for this reason, as pH measurements are critical for the treatment decision or changing the treatment model by the doctor.

There was a problem with a relative of mine with a fairly large stone in the calyx of the left kidney (14mm length, 10.8 width, dimensions after an axial tomography) and bacteriuria (presence of multiple Proteus mirabilis bacteria in the urine).
