It is a very cheap construction. The sound is good. I use it with an NW800 condenser microphone and there is no background noise at all. But it also produces some strange sounds. Excellent for its price! I have already bought 2 of these and they work perfectly. When adjusting the sound through it, a similar volume gradient icon appears on the screen, just like in Windows. It works flawlessly on Windows 8.1 64-bit, without any additional software installation. Straight plug & play. The dual audio output and dual microphone input are a plus.
