Minus one star for the digital display. It is only visible in daylight. Especially for someone with presbyopia, it is impossible to distinguish anything on the screen if it is indoors.
The reception is much worse than the GW-5000U-1ER that I also have. Not that it doesn't catch, but much more difficult.
The sensors were a pleasant surprise, I covered it once and for the rest of the journey, it barely lost 5-10 meters in altitude.
A bit uncomfortable, mainly because of the metal keeper that pulls out hairs, but you get used to it.

And a little ugly truth now...
It was an object of desire and yes, it looks very nice.
But....
It has a BIG disadvantage and that is the screen!
The digital one. You can't see anything! It looks very blurry that you can hardly read!
Forget about the photos you see on the internet! They are all taken with "appropriate" lighting and from an "appropriate" angle and at an "appropriate" distance!
In hand and from a distance of 30-50 inches, that is, in everyday life (most of the time) you can hardly see anything! Or nothing at all.....
And no, I'm not exaggerating, look at the photos and ask other users!
You almost always have to find an angle(!) or turn on a light to see the display!!!
We're not talking if you are over 45 and your vision has "dropped" a bit!
So functions like 2nd time, altimeter, stopwatch, barometer, countdown timer in practice become VERY difficult, maybe even impossible.....
If it makes your life difficult, all the perks are LOST!!!
Unfortunately, I couldn't find it in a store in Greece to try it out. I ordered it from abroad and I discovered this on my own.Attention, do not compare it (in terms of the screen) with the 2000! Things are much better there!!

I just don't like the 2000 at all. My personal opinion, tastes differ.--Reception....
Compared to an older model I have (PRW-1500) it is very bad!!!
While they are side by side, the PRW-1500 receives a signal while this one many times does not.....
And unfortunately, it does NOT have a reception indicator on the screen so you can see it at a glance, like many other models and the PRW-1500 of course.
You have to press the button 10 times(!) to go to the reception menu and there guess what happens....
You have to find suitable lighting or angle to see if it finally received a signal.--Measurements....
Its measurements are INDICATIVE and in no case should you trust it for survival!
But that's how all CASIO watches are. I had hoped it would have improved but nothing has changed!
Constant calibration and ......... constantly wrong indications!!!!I personally miss the moon phases that I was used to. As well as sunrise-sunset which other models have and without Bluetooth to catch up with some. Its price imposes these.
It's not the No1 most comfortable on the wrist, but anyone who chooses such a large watch knows that!
The light is not bad at all! But if you compare it with other models of the same company, you will see that it could be much better! I expect a lot at this price!
Conclusion....
As a tool, it's NOT WORTH IT!
Much cheaper models of 100€ do a better job!
However, it has a reputation and "name" and it is worth it as a status symbol for enthusiasts.
I still don't know about reliability. I think and hope(!) it will be as reliable as all the CASIO watches I have.
I will come back if something happens (funny or time!!!)This is my opinion and I'm sorry if I disappointed you.
Feel free to question if you want and search for it on your own.

The price has dropped to more reasonable levels compared to the amount of money you had to spend about 2 years ago.
Excellent watch! Comfortable, sturdy, with solar charging, rugged, very beautiful on the wrist and to the eye.
Its dimensions are not much larger than a gwg 100 1AER that I also have, but I believe it fits better on wrists with a circumference over 18 cm.
The analog indications are clear, but the negative digital display makes it quite difficult to read in low-light environments.
The night illumination is quite good, while the luminescent feature is very good with long duration.
Excellent barometer and compass.
The altimeter needs frequent calibration with a known altitude value of the area via Google Earth or another altimeter, as it measures through the atmospheric pressure sensor it has and is therefore susceptible to errors (affected by changes in the barometric field).
Radio-controlled, but with some difficulty in urban environments during nighttime hours. It requires good weather and an open environment.
It is preferable to manually update it rather than automatically during nighttime hours to avoid wasting energy due to failed connection attempts.
The watch can receive the signal and be adjusted at any time of the day regardless of the conditions and environment through the "Junghans" application for Android mobile phones with great success.
