It is the third time I put them on. Rav4 of 2008. very good grip both in dry and wet conditions. they hold quite well on rough roads. they even responded well in the snow. I had the previous ones since 2017. Personally, I highly recommend them for those who have off-road concerns. For muddy dirt roads and slightly rougher ones, they are very good. not for extreme situations, of course. Of course, the car also plays a role. For me, the 80-20 rule applies.

I installed these tires on my four-wheel drive SUV because I had heard good reviews about CONTINENTAL tires in general. Unfortunately, this specific tire is considered bad to even dangerous. Its grip on dry pavement is very mediocre, and this becomes immediately noticeable as compared to the previous premium tires I had (I won't mention the brand to avoid advertising), as the ABS would constantly kick in. It does not provide any sense of security, as you feel that it can betray you at any moment. I won't even discuss its performance on wet pavement. CONTINENTAL claims that it is designed for 80% asphalt and 20% dirt roads. However, this is not true in practice in any way (obviously, it's just marketing trickery), as I had two punctures in just 10,000 kilometers of driving on asphalt. In the few off-road trips I took on dirt roads, I noticed that small pieces were coming off the tire, which I find completely unacceptable for tires that cost around 500 euros. On the positive side, I can say that they were relatively quiet and I did not notice an increase in fuel consumption. Finally, in order not to unfairly judge the company, I will say that I do not have any experience with their other tires, and my criticism is solely about this specific type of tire. I had to remove them prematurely after just 10,000 kilometers (losing money in the process) and replace them with new premium tires from the brand I had before using these ones. I hope I helped...
