We did not like it at all, the nipple is way too big for a baby's mouth!! Another fake nipple of the same category suited us much better!

My wife has been using them since the second day. The baby had difficulty latching onto the nipple due to its size. Also, her persistence in trying to breastfeed would cause her nipples to get injured. We were almost ready to try a breast pump, but our midwives suggested using fake nipples. We have been using these for almost 1½ months now without any problems. They fit well, are thin and soft, and come in a case. We have two pairs so that we can sterilize them before each use.

I was not satisfied at all. I read that they do not easily come off, which was the reason I paid double the price for this particular product. From the beginning, they come off easily with the slightest touch of the baby. Their shape does not help at all as it does not fit well on the chest where it has the indentation, and it comes off from there. It has 3 sizes, so be careful to choose the right one.

Compared to other nipple shields I have tried from other companies, the ones from Medela are by far better because they do not come off during breastfeeding. I have been using them for a while and I am satisfied.

The product, for what it is, is fine.
Firstly, it is very important for the size to fit well on the chest, and secondly, do not think that confusion of nipples will not be caused by use. If you want to use them for a short time for the healing of a wound, it should be for a very short period of time and with alternating between the chest with the false nipple in one meal without using them in any other situation, and removing them as soon as the chest is healed.
If the use is long-term, the nipple on the chest softens and the baby does not recognize it.
Also, because the baby starts drinking milk when the false nipple is essentially full, not from the first sucking motion, if it is very hungry, it becomes nervous. In my case, it would cry and stop breastfeeding, and we were forced to give a bottle, resulting in partial weaning.
When the baby starts making more movements at around one and a half months, it takes them off many times with its little hands, which is difficult, especially during nighttime hours, because you will need to have a second sterilized pair close to you and water in order to suction it.
In short, if it is for healing in a really difficult pain situation, let it be used sparingly. However, if they are used continuously for a long time (more than 10 days), the risk of creating a problem with breastfeeding is high.

I believe that there is no better product in its category, we tried several and it was a mistake not to get the Medela from the beginning.
