The espresso pot Steelmoka from the company Pedrini, can make up to 4 cups of coffee. It is a much more economical solution for making coffee compared to an espresso machine, and to operate it, you simply need to place it on a stove burner. The coffee-making process is very simple: Fill the bottom part (water container) with water, without exceeding the height of the safety valve. Then, add ground coffee to the conical filter, without pressing it, remove any residue from the rim, and place it on top of the water container. Finally, screw the top part of the coffee maker onto the water container and place it on the stove burner. Once the water boils, the extraction will start, offering you hot and fresh coffee.
Its operation is based on steam pressure, like an espresso machine, although the pot produces much less pressure (usually 2 to 3 bar). The coffee you will use should be slightly coarser ground compared to the grind for espresso machines, in order to extract properly. It has a heat-resistant handle, allowing you to easily and safely serve the coffee in your cup.
An important advantage is that it takes up minimal space in your kitchen, and it can be easily transported everywhere thanks to its small size.
It is advisable to clean it after each use, using water and soap, to prevent coffee residues. Additionally, it would be useful to periodically descale it, as like any metallic appliance that comes into contact with water, it tends to accumulate salts.
It is made of stainless steel, which provides greater durability and resistance to use and time, while also being easy to clean.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Unfortunately, no matter how we grind the coffee, it passes a lot of grit. However, for camping it is fine, and as a material it is very good.
From Pedrini aluminum to steel and "induction". Beautiful, nice materials. The coffee comes out crystal clear, no comparison with the aluminum where it came out "cloudy", it has no taste of "burnt" or bad acidity. You drink it more pleasantly, a different coffee with the only change being the pot and the induction hob. It definitely takes more water and coffee, compared to the Pedrini aluminum size 6 I had. Be careful with the induction hob, on medium or low only, it makes it very quickly.
Impeccable design. Pedrini has spare parts for everything.
The first espresso briki that I bought and honestly, I didn't expect to enjoy it so much. Even for someone like me who has no experience in making coffee (I don't even make Greek coffee at home), I understood from the first coffee that the process is very simple and quick. There is a relevant video by Pedrini on YouTube that shows in detail how to use it.
Made from very good and durable materials, it is very easy to clean and can actually hold 6 cups of coffee, even though it takes up very little space.
Regarding the taste of the coffee, I will not express an opinion because it is 100% subjective and directly related to the ground coffee that one chooses to use.
I would buy it again for its quality of construction, ease of use and cleaning, as well as the amount of coffee it produces. You don't easily find an espresso briki with these characteristics and at this price.

It bent immediately, because it is not stainless steel on the inside
