Excellent case, I bought it for use with an older television's universal remote control and it fit perfectly. Its only drawback is that it adds a little extra bulk, but it is a real armor.

It may not fit well on all remote controls, but if it does, it's amazing. It doesn't understand anything.

I tried it on 2 different brand remote controls (Sony & LG) but unfortunately it didn't fit well on either of them. Specifically, one is somewhat narrow in width (LG), resulting in poor fit. On the other one (Sony), it fits better, but still moves around quite a bit without being annoying. So, it doesn't do well in terms of the universal fit description. In terms of quality, I find it very good and I didn't worry about it in 2-3 falls from the couch.

Another thing that is annoying, although not exclusively the case of the cover, is that some remote controls (like the Sony one I have) have the signal transmitter not in the middle but on the side, resulting in the indentation of the cover (which is in the middle of the width) not being large enough and cutting off the signal. This renders the remote control useless and the only solution I found is to cut and enlarge the opening of the cover...
