    It does a very good job. You can feel it from warm to hot. I also tried the other classic style that is available (the softer, fleece-like one) but you don't feel the temperature well enough, maybe that one needs pressure to heat up properly, it didn't help me (I use it to warm up my abdominal area during difficult days and not as a pillow)
