The home of the Christian family is the hearth, the cradle of the development of the new members of our Church, but also our personal space that serves as a refuge for the performance of daily acts of faith and spiritual devotion.
It is beneficial to organize our own divine worship, in our home, with our prayers. Prayer is a weapon. It gives peace, relief, and hope.
Let us all remember together, and each one separately, what our parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents used to do on certain special days, prayer, fasting, Holy Communion, Blessing, and Holy Oil.
Let us light the candle next to the icons, let us incense and knead the prosphora. Let our home become a harbor of tranquility, purification, and hope through acts of faith and divine communion.

This book is addressed to the Greek Orthodox family, with deep Christian faith, which can only gain the gift of divine grace and help through it.
Let us remember our traditions by glorifying our God, through our family hearth, organizing it as a true liturgical home.
