It only scans loose sheets (not books, for example). It is indeed very expensive compared to similar ones I found later, but this depends on your needs for what it offers.
POSITIVES: Whatever it does, it does it very well. Fast, with excellent scanning quality, it can scan even laminated sheets (like IDs), works with a battery that provides 150 scans with one charge, and charges with the mobile charger. You put it in your laptop bag and forget about it! No cables or other... queues! It is an absolutely fetish machine! The OCR extracts the scanned files in jpg, word, excel (!!!), pdf, and powerpoint format. Its use is very simple! What personally interested me, besides simple scanning, was the ability to translate a document. And it does this extremely well, quickly, and easily: You convert it to word, copy-paste it into Google Translator, and that's it! Note: Regarding excel, it retains your data but of course not the formulas (it doesn't perform magic)!
