Description

Synthetic engine oil designed for gasoline and diesel passenger cars. 

Created for all gasoline engines with or without catalytic converter and all diesel engines with or without turbocharging in passenger cars not equipped with a particulate filter.

It can be used even in the most demanding operating conditions (fast highway driving, intensive urban traffic) in any season. It is designed to meet the needs of engine manufacturers for extended oil change intervals.


Provides:

  • Mechanical protection of the engine, fully maintains performance, slows down engine aging and wear.
  • Thermal stability and resistance to oxidation that eliminates any degradation even under very heavy operating conditions.
  • Immediate lubrication of engine components during cold start-up leading to longer engine life, economical fuel consumption due to extreme oil flow at low temperatures and very high film strength at high temperatures.
  • Keeps the engine clean.
  • Meets the engine manufacturer's requirements for extended oil change intervals.

    With the previous 0-30 or 5-30 oils I used, the engine sounded like it was diesel, very thin for Greece not satisfied at all.
    Switching to 5-40 Total oils and with an oil booster that is like honey, the engine sounded like it came out of the factory, no noise at all

    Excellent on Citroen xsara picasso 1.6 16v with lpg works perfectly in winter & summer. It is important to change the filter with every oil change. Also, an excellent value for money. Recommended.

    I put them in a 2004 Honda Jazz, replacing the semi-synthetic Febi (Bilstein) 10w40, and they are worth their money. Smooth engine operation, reduced noise, improved fuel consumption, I didn't have to add a gram in a year.

    I have tried many different brands of 5w40 oils. I have ended up with TOTAL 5w40. Usually, I change oils every 10,000km, but I happened to keep this one for 13,000km and everything was fine. For those who want, along with the oil, they should use the MANNOL 9991 oil additive. For me, it is the perfect combination.
