The beekeeper, in order to maintain, develop, and exploit honey sources, must be familiar with the characteristics of many plants as well as what they offer to bees. Some provide only nectar, some only pollen, some both nectar and pollen together, and some honeydew. Therefore, a beekeeper who does not know the flora of the area where they have placed or are interested in placing their apiary is inconceivable. This book makes an attempt to present the main characteristics of 170 beekeeping plants (wild or cultivated) through texts and photographs. It also provides a list of the color palette of honeydew from 120 beekeeping plants, measures for prevention and protection during nomadic beekeeping, and useful contact information (Port Authorities - Forestry Offices). Finally, there is a first attempt to introduce the flora of various regions of Greece so that the beekeeper can use the provided information to search for these areas for the exploitation of various honey sources.
