From the first year of installation, aluminum starts to show signs of oxidation and corrosion, approximately within 5 years the strength at the point where it is supported on the mast has significantly weakened, resulting in the antenna breaking and being destroyed in strong winds from the 5th year onwards. The same oxidation phenomenon is also evident in the rods (Dipole) where the aluminum expands and in the plastic where the board is located and the connection with the F plug creates a gap, allowing water to penetrate. Its durability has nothing to do with previous models that lasted 10 years, it is a 5-year antenna.
