Power Supply and Engine

Self-propelled Lawn Mower by Strend Pro. With self-propulsion, all you need to do, by pressing a lever located on the steering wheel, is to transfer the motion produced by the engine to the wheels, resulting in the machine moving by itself. Features a four-stroke gasoline engine, with a displacement of 196cc and 5.3hp which rotates the cutting blades.

What is a four-stroke engine and what are its advantages/disadvantages in a lawn mower?

It is an internal combustion engine that operates with a circulation of oil and air in four cycles of operation.

Advantages:
• Lawn mowers with four-stroke engines do not require additional oil.
• They consume fuel only once every four strokes, making them a more economical choice.
• They are built to withstand more wear and tear.
• They produce less noise and vibration during operation.
• They are less polluting because they do not require mixing oils or lubricants with the fuel.

Disadvantages:
• Because lawn mowers with four-stroke engines have more parts and valves, repairs and maintenance are more expensive.
• Given that they only get their power as the piston rotates every four turns, this design is less powerful than an engine with a similar two-stroke engine.

Power

With a power of 1000W - 1400W the machine is suitable for use from 50 m2 to 300 m2, while with a power of 1600W – 2000W it is suitable for an area from 300 m2 to 500 m2. This machine has a power of 4000 Watt.

Cutting Width

The size of the area determines the choice of the machine's cutting width, as the wider the blade, the more grass it cuts with each pass. The maximum cutting surface of the blades amounts to 50cm.

Collection Bucket Capacity

With the collection bucket, you can easily empty and dispose of the cut grass. This specific bucket has a capacity of 60 liters.
For example, for a 50sqm garden, a 30-50 liter bucket would be sufficient, while for a 100sqm - 200sqm garden you would need a 50-70 liter bucket. For larger areas, ideally opt for a 70-120 liter collection bag.
Generally, the capacity of a lawn mower's bucket depends on many factors, such as the frequency of cutting, the type of grass you will be cutting, and the ground conditions. However, if the area you want to cut has many obstacles such as trees, flowers, or other objects, you might need to empty the bucket more frequently. In this case, a larger bucket would be more practical.

Why choose a lawn mower with a larger displacement?

A lawn mower with a larger displacement can cut grass more efficiently and achieve better cutting results on larger surfaces.
Also, it can cut the grass at a higher speed and allow for a quicker completion of your work while it can more easily cut grass in difficult areas, such as on slopes or in wetter grounds.

Lawn Mower Usage Instructions

To safely and effectively use a lawn mower, we advise you to follow the instructions below:
• Carefully read the manufacturer's user manual and follow all the instructions for starting, using, and maintaining the machine.
• Before you start using it, check all the functions and safety systems, such as the brakes and the engine operation or if the battery is fully charged (if it is a battery lawn mower).
• Before use, make sure the lawn is dry.
• Acquire appropriate clothing and protective equipment.
• Before starting the machine, make sure there are no children, pets, or other objects in its path.

General Maintenance Tips and Instructions

• Maintaining a lawn mower is important for preserving its performance and lifespan. The following instructions provide general advice. However, it is important to always follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer in the user manual of the machine you purchased.
• Change the oil according to the manufacturer's instructions. Usually, this should be done every 25 hours of operation.
• Check all connections and screws and make sure everything is properly tightened.
• Check the operation of the engine and the starting system. If there are any problems, contact a specialized technician.
• Clean or replace the air filter according to the manufacturer's instructions. This should be done regularly, as clean air is important for the proper operation of the machine's engine.
• Clean the machine and check for any wear on the blades.
• Make sure the cutting settings are correct and adjust them if required.
