The running shoes from Brooks are designed with lightweight Engineered Mesh on the upper part to offer absolute breathability. The Segmented Crash Pad technology provides shock absorption by smoothly adapting the foot's landing to the ground. They feature a DNA Loft v2 Cushioning midsole for protection and weight reduction, while the Transition Zone keeps your toes and heels protected.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
I use them daily at work and for walking. They are comfortable, but quite warm, no matter what socks I wear with them. The holes help them to ventilate, but they do not achieve this satisfactorily if the foot sweats a lot.
The gray color is the most beautiful, it has a slight blue tint and you can combine it with various colors.
I would like the tongue to be 1 cm shorter, as with the movement of the foot it does not stay in place and falls towards the outer side of the shoe.
I wear size 41 in shoes. My foot fits in size 41, but I kept size 42 and maybe size 42.5 would have fit me too (I didn't try it). *You will need at least 1 size larger than what you usually wear.
They have very good grip on any surface.
The running shoes are worth it, nothing compared to the running shoes of 60-70 euros from another brand. At the 75 I got them for, they were the best, I'm thinking of getting another pair to have on hand.
One of the best shoes for various types of running...I have bought expensive models from all brands, the Ghost is the best and most comfortable I have worn + its price is unbeatable......I hope they continue the same quality and price..I will not change brands again..
Comfortable, lightweight but durable, it supports the foot amazingly during running even with a heavy body, I would buy it again.
The shoes are very comfortable and very cushioned. They are a bit heavy compared to the competition but they are very affordable. I consider them a great shoe for long workouts and long distance races. I don't think they are the ideal shoe for someone who wants to run a marathon in three hours, but they are perfect for all long runs to prepare for a fast marathon. Obviously they are quite heavy for fast workouts. Due to the low cost, I believe that all runners can use them.
With the discount I got them (74€) they were very good for their price. I bought them after a lot of research, looking for something for amateur training that is also somewhat durable. One negative is that the laces come undone easily. They could have used some with more elasticity to tighten.
It is as they say in some reviews, the shoe that you wear and deal with when you take it off after the workout...
Coming from glycerin with which I did 800+ km and visually they look like new.... at first, the ghosts seemed a bit hard to me, but they softened quickly and fit me perfectly.
Relaxation, intervals, tempo, it doesn't feel anything...
I haven't done a long run on asphalt because I run in the mountains.
A dog shoe!
I have run/used many shoes. When I wore Brooks, I never bothered with any other brand (Owner, Ghost, 14, Ghost 15, Hyperion, etc.)
a. The quality is on another level (this applies to clothes, leggings, socks, windbreakers, jackets, etc.)
b. These specific ones have a 12mm drop, so you won't achieve good times but your knees and waist will stay with you, keeping you company, and you won't leave them in any pit. This is due to the foam/sole that this shoe has. It's like walking on a cloud.
c. Great durability/quality materials. With the Ghost 14, I have done 600km and they still feel like new.
d. Pay attention to the size! In NB 1080, I wear a size 43, in Saucony 44, but in these, I got a size 45!
Buy them with your eyes closed
Not what I expected, it's the first chost I put on and wear after the new balance 1080v12. I feel like it's a shallow shoe and the sole is a bit hard. If I had to buy it again, NO.
Bought for 80.20 euros. Papa for medium distances with large ones. In size 42.5 it weighs 279gr. It is quite light, with slightly thick fabric and good breathability. Its tongue is free, which is a small disadvantage during running as it is not stable. It has a hard heel with an inner cushion. The sole is soft and stable. It has a very good grip and performs well on the road. It has very good shock absorption and energy return. It also withstands speed changes.
I mainly choose based on how it feels on my foot. It is the second time I choose Brooks and I probably won't stop. Tremendous value for money, by the way, I rarely write reviews.
Ideal shoe for everyday running and possibly even racing (if someone is not very interested in performance). Having tried size 43 and 42.5 (which is the right size for me) in a long run, I consider it very important to make the correct size selection because it significantly changes the feel.
