This balm is not for hold. The blue one from lavish provides hold. Also, the scent is nice, it reminds me of eucalyptus with mint. Some will find it nice, some won't, it's subjective. Finally, I am not advertising the company, I am just a hairstylist and the prices of lavish are good and its products are of good quality. I say this because I have experienced many bad things.   The only thing I can imagine is that the "positive reviews" come from the sellers themselves. The product does nothing more than make the beard oily as if you haven't washed it for a month. It does not make it softer in any way or repair split ends. Not even immediately after application. Overall, I would say it is the worst purchase I have made in recent years. Additionally, if you make the mistake of touching your mustache and then touching your eye... you have a problem. Finally, the "scent" of it is (at least for me) repellent (like mint).
