Stratamed is a self-stabilizing silicone gel, non-sticky and transparent, for the prevention and treatment of deforming scars in the form of hypertrophic scars and keloids.

It can be applied to any fresh surgical incision or excision, open wound, and skin surfaces that have undergone continuity disruption, chemical peeling, abrasions, and superficial burns from radiotherapy. It is suitable for exposed areas such as the face and neck, as well as for areas like joints and areas covered with hair without requiring hair removal.

When used appropriately, it dries quickly, forming a thin silicone sheet, a protective semi-permeable membrane.
