This amazing gaming device is powered by the powerful Ryzen™ Z1 Extreme processor from AMD. Built on 4nm technology, it incorporates Zen 4 architecture and RDNA™ 3 graphics. 

With upscaling technologies like AMD Fluid Motion Frames and Radeon™ Super Resolution, the Ally X boosts the framerate while maintaining image quality. Choose between three performance modes, from 10 W in Silent Mode to 15 W in Performance Mode and 25 W in Turbo Mode (which becomes 30 W when connected to a power supply). ROG collaborated with AMD to ensure the system can effectively showcase its capabilities, and the Ryzen™ Z1 Extreme is ready to make waves in the gaming world.

The Z1 Extreme comes with all the latest and greatest graphics technologies from AMD, including FSR and RSR for high-quality upscaling, AMD Fluid Motion Frames for smoother motion, and Radeon Anti-Lag for more immediate control. Full support M.2 2280

We have upgraded the PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSD in the Ally X, now offering up to 1TB of storage from the start. And since the Ally X supports the standard M.2 2280 form factor, you can seamlessly upgrade in the future if you need more storage. Keep your favorite games installed and play whatever you want whenever the mood strikes.

LPDDR5 7500 Memory

The integrated GPU of the AMD Ryzen™ Z1 Extreme shares its pool of ultra-fast LDDDR5X 7500MHz memory with the rest of the system, so we increased the total capacity from 16GB to 24GB in the Ally X, allowing you to max out all graphics settings without worrying about RAM.

Play Anywhere

The ROG Ally X is made to play your favorite games when you're away from a power outlet. With this in mind, we upgraded its battery capacity to 80 Wh for even greater autonomy. Keep playing!

Zero Gravity, 0 Distractions, 100% Performance

The ROG Ally X is designed for playing anywhere, which is why it has a cooling system that allows you to do just that! It comes with specially designed heat pipes that offer perfect performance regardless of orientation, as well as a third air vent that helps maintain low temperatures on the motherboard and screen.

Antigravity Heat Conductors

Antigravity heat pipes improve heat transfer using a special construction that increases pressure in the capillary tube by at least 15%. This way, the Ally's cooling system remains effective even when it is completely inverted.

Fluid Dynamic Bearing

Both fans feature a Fluid Dynamic Bearing design, a tried and tested style that will keep the Ally X spinning like a top for years to come. Fluid dynamic bearing fans also have low friction even when operating in non-traditional orientations, allowing you to hold the Ally X in any direction without worry.

Thinner

The ROG Ally X is equipped with brand-new fans that are thinner than the previous design, leaving more room for air to pass between each blade. The 0.15mm thick fans allowed for the integration of the larger 80Wh battery, while simultaneously increasing the overall airflow by 10%.

Cool inside and out

We have also redesigned the fan covers to divert a small amount of air into the chassis, between the motherboard and the screen. This air keeps the screen cooler to the touch and is expelled through a new third vent at the top of the chassis, keeping noise low when you are engrossed in a game.

ROG Dust Filter

The dust filters cover both air intakes, keeping foreign particles away from the fans. Less dust means more efficient and quieter cooling for the years to come.

Ultra-thin Fins 0.1mm

Thermal energy is dissipated by two heatsinks, each lined with ultra-thin aluminum fins just 0.1mm thick. The higher density fins allow for increased heat dissipation and lower air resistance for smoother flow. There are up to 102 heatsink fins with a total surface area of 12,173mm.

Smooth and crystal-clear image

Featuring a 1080p touch panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and FreeSync™ Premium support, the 7-inch screen makes gaming a pleasure. While typical LCD screens have a maximum brightness of 200-300 nits, the Ally X's reaches up to 500 nits. Thanks to the higher brightness, the Ally X can better capture the action on the screen even in brighter environments such as outdoors, without affecting the contrast or the 100% sRGB color space coverage.

Better outdoor viewing with Corning® DXC

The Corning® Gorilla® Glass DXC coating reduces surface reflections while enhancing screen hardness by at least 40% for improved scratch resistance. Fewer reflections mean better content perception in bright or outdoor environments.

Perfect Grip

The ROG Ally X benefits from larger-sized grips with a textured surface. With their height increased by just 4.5 mm, they are extremely comfortable to hold without taking up practically any extra space in your bag.

Comfortable Control

The position of the joysticks on the ROG Ally X differs from that of the directional pad and the front buttons for even easier finger movement. The specially designed 2° and 14° tilt ensures a comfortable grip of the Ally X with both hands. Comfort is a key requirement, and the Ally X is designed from the ground up to fit perfectly in your hands.

Anti-slip design

The distinctive embossed ROG stands out on the back of the Ally X handles, giving it character and ensuring a naturally firm grip. Comfort and safety have never been so cool!

Instant Connection

A slightly recessed power button helps you locate it easily without looking, while keeping the fingerprint scanner accurate so you can log in instantly and start playing.

Comfortable key pressing

The front keys have a flat dome shape, being extremely comfortable to press, much more stable, and with a tactile click sensation.

Controllers

The analog sticks are a key component in any controller, which is why we ensured that those on the ROG Ally X offer the perfect combination of comfort and precision. The improved sticks are much more durable, now certified for 5 million rotation cycles - twice as many as those on the previous Ally. With a different position for improved ergonomics, both feature RGB lighting for extra style.

Imposing stereo sound

The dual front-facing Smart Amp speakers with Dolby Atmos boost the volume without distortion, immersing you in the worlds of your favorite titles. The two-way noise cancellation via AI processes incoming and outgoing sound, filtering out any unwanted noise from your conversations.
