Alpha+ Highchair - The wooden chair that evolves with you for a lifetime. A busy companion made from sustainable wood. The Alpha+ is made from European oak wood, sourced from FSC® certified forests. We place great importance on the sustainable and ecological use of the forest that protects plants and animals.
Thanks to the adjustable seat and footrest, the chair adapts to your child's height and allows for a comfortable sitting position at any age. The chair also fits under almost any table with support and is a reliable companion with a maximum weight of up to 90 kg - for a lifetime.
Particularly stable for safe meals. The sturdy construction with floor glides makes the Alpha+ resistant to tipping over.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Quality construction, heavy, sturdy, and beautiful. However, it is not suitable for a 6-month-old baby, and I will explain why.
On the one hand, the recline angle and the tolerances of the safety straps allow the child to slide even further forward, resulting in a diagonal position unsuitable for eating. At 7 months, the situation is better, but the position is not comparable to much cheaper high chairs. This greatly hinders the extra cushion, which, from what I understand, is not designed to work with the 5-point harness and slides too much on the seat.
Finally, the assembly instructions are poor regarding the 5-point harness, which is different from what is shown in the instructions. In combination with the passive belt, it is a bit puzzling until you figure out how to attach it.
I would not recommend it for small children. I hope to enjoy it at an older age. For now, we have settled for plastic chairs that cost 20 and 30 euros, in which the child sits much better 100 times.
