Many parents feel like they are floating, others are drowning, few feel comfortable swimming.

It took me a while to understand what it means to be a parent.

You are the one constantly looking for a lifebuoy.

What words to say, what actions to justify, not to hurt, what kind of child will I raise, in what world, in what way, only I know what I am going through, how many sacrifices and how many lifebuoys I have sought.

After all, it's not our fault that we weren't born ready, nor our parents' fault that they didn't prepare us.

They too came from a "sink or swim" situation.

So come on, give me your hand, you too, child, and you, big child, come let's grow tall together.
