The construction is flawless, the 1.4m cable length is definitely not too short, and the arrangement (direction) of the sockets is well chosen.

I would also like to particularly comment positively on the included base. I placed the cube on my wooden nightstand (it may take 2-3 minutes) and it makes the whole setup look especially organized
