The Tichu deck is a fast and clever card game where you try to get rid of your cards while also collecting points. The first team to reach 1000 points is the winner.

The players (4 for standard Tichu) form 2 teams and sit so that each player is between two opponents and opposite their teammate. Traditionally, the game moves counterclockwise, that is, to the right.

The game ends when only one player is left with cards in their hand and the others have gone out. The last player incurs a penalty, which consists of giving all the cards they have in their hand to the opponents, and all their tricks to the first player who went out, regardless of team. Therefore, it is possible for the last player to give their tricks to their teammate if they went out first.

After the game ends, the points each team earned are counted and recorded.
