The MC888 Ultra by ZTE is a mobile router, a device to which other devices (e.g., computer, mobile phone, television) connect wirelessly, and it distributes internet access to them. It receives internet access through the built-in modem and uses the mobile network by installing a SIM card. The SIM card must have an active connection with a data package.
It connects to the 5G network, which offers significantly higher speeds than 4G. For the device to operate at this speed, there must be corresponding coverage from the mobile network in the area where we are located.
It is of Wi‑Fi 6 generation, the most modern Wi-Fi standard that offers speeds up to 40% higher than Wi-Fi 5. It coordinates communication with connected devices to consume less battery and works better in environments with many Wi-Fi devices. Ideal for homes with many smart devices. It broadcasts a signal on two frequencies, 2.4 & 5GHz. It offers higher speeds compared to single band and connection of more devices. The 2.4GHz frequency is the most widespread and has a long range. The 5GHz provides higher speed than 2.4GHz but is more sensitive to obstacles (e.g., walls) that reduce its range. This difference and its more limited use help it have fewer interferences from other networks.

House in the village with 4G+, the product was purchased as a unique solution on a 12V UPS to cover the needs of a smart home server and 10 - 15 clients. The product as a unique solution is extremely mediocre. It heats up very easily and stops performing, as it also does not work with iCloud private relay and does not allow more than 10 fixed Mac-IP binds (the manually configured smart home stopped working). In the end, I left the ASUS Router (2014 still EXCELLENT) and the Huawei access points (UN-BE-LIE-VABLE wifi coverage, I have signal normally 100 meters away). For casual users, it is an excellent choice. If I had known, I would have bought the mc889 or some Huawei
