Excellent guitar pedal for blues and old soft, not hard rock. It has a warm sound but it is not quite clean. If you are interested in a pedal with clean articulation (meaning emphasis on the attack's starting point), buy another one because clearly this one is not for you. It does not have strong high frequencies, that is not its strength, and it is wrong to boost them in the mix instead of using another pedal (information that does not exist cannot be generated). It writes very warm and has audibility, meaning with moderate intensity, the sound is heard clearly, but it is not extreme. If you want something similar but with cleaner articulation and higher quality high frequencies, there is the comparatively cooler (with less dynamic bass) Klon KTR, which I consider a wrong choice because in the category of blues pedals we focus on sweetness. If you don't like it, completely change the category of pedals.
