The RPHA JET by HJC is a jet helmet, which, thanks to its open design at the bottom of the face, can be put on and taken off with ease. It is considered one of the lightest types of helmets, however, it leaves a large area of the face uncovered, therefore it is less safe compared to a full-face helmet. It is made of composite fibre, that is, from synthetic fibers that make it flexible and resistant to shock absorption. It fastens with a double d ring, also known as a ring. It is the safest and most reliable fastening, but it requires both hands to tie. The helmet has the new European safety certification "ECE 22.06", which ensures that the helmet is tested at 18 impact control points instead of 6 as before.
