Description

The DEWALT® 54V brushless motor and high-capacity battery deliver 13.3 Joules of impact energy, providing maximum drilling capacity of 48 mm in compact concrete. Despite its high performance, the DCH735 features best-in-class vibrations of 9.0m/s2 thanks to Perform and Protect features that include an active vibration control handle and a reverse rotation system that detects tool control loss and immediately reacts by cutting power.

Brushless Motor

Less wear, greater performance

The advantage that brushless motors have over brushed ones is that they do not have friction since there are no carbon brushes. Without carbon brushes, the motors are more efficient and have a longer lifespan as there is no wear and tear (the carbon brushes in brushed motors wear out with use). They produce less noise, maintain their torque consistently at all speeds, do not overheat, and require no maintenance.
