Description

Anti-skid chains are placed on the driving wheels of the car, front or rear, enhancing traction on the road when it is covered in snow and ice. Their installation is relatively easy but it is necessary to have tested them beforehand so that we are familiar with their placement.

Also an important criterion in choosing snow chains, apart from the compatible size of our tire, is the diameter (thickness) of the chain we will choose. Usually, chains with a thickness of 12mm and above offer more effective grip and better penetration in the snow compared to thinner diameter chains. Finally, their installation is not recommended for lowered passenger vehicles or vehicles with low-profile tires.
