The 917 by Faseed is a flip-up helmet, widely known as "flip-up" or "openable" as the front part of the helmet can be lifted. Because it is openable, it does not offer the same level of safety as a full-face helmet. It is usually a convenient choice for people who make many short trips with several stops daily. It is made of thermoplastic, a reinforced hard material of high strength. It fastens with a microlock, which allows you to fasten it easily and quickly. Additionally, it features a sun visor, which is an internal sunshade film, like glass, for protection from the sun.

The sun visor is not very good and when you use it, it makes your eyes dizzy and blurs the rider's vision. The sound is heard at high speeds, above 110, a little more and it may become annoying. Overall, for city use, it is a fairly decent helmet.
