I have had them connected to the socket and in operation for three years straight, and I listen to music through a Bluetooth receiver either from my mobile phone or from the computer, and of course movies since they are the main speakers of my computer. To begin with, after three years plugged in and turned on, they work perfectly fine, except for a small problem that arose from a power surge from the power company, which burned their transformer and I replaced it with a 12-volt transformer that I had from another device. They work the same as before, although I have the impression that the volume is slightly reduced. Not particularly important, but in any case, I consider them to be durable over time. Their construction seems quite high-quality for their price, and the material of the cabinet (MDF wood) is an additional positive. Their volume, for me, is very satisfactory (for a room up to 40 square meters, of course). Personally, in a small two-story house of 20 square meters downstairs and 20 square meters upstairs, if I want to enjoy myself, I go downstairs and turn them up to the maximum, and they are more than satisfactory. They easily overpower all the other sounds and can immerse you in the music. Upstairs, they still have enough volume but they don't overwhelm your head. The sound, to my untrained ear, is quite high-quality, and a sound engineer friend of mine who has heard them told me that they are great, not studio-quality of course, but when I told him how much I bought them for, he was shocked (60 Euros). Overall, testing them with pieces from Pink Floyd, which are familiar to me and have high-quality recordings and music, the result impressed me. Certainly, the depth of the bass and the sound in general cannot be compared to a 150-watt speaker, but for their size and without a subwoofer, I believe they are very good. They lack in bass compared to 2.1 speakers with a subwoofer, but they excel in fidelity and intensity of frequencies in the mid-range. I would recommend them for rock, punk, jazz, classical, etc., but not for bass-heavy electronic music. In short, an excellent quality-price ratio, although there are now some larger models from the company at a very similar price. If I were to make a purchase today, I would definitely consider the larger ones, assuming that the quality remains consistent across all their models, more for the sake of excess.

Very nice speakers for listening to music in the background! They are exactly as Edifier describes them, speakers that you can put in the library, they are beautiful and produce very nice frequencies (from 100hz to 20000hz, so not the entire sound spectrum).

What you need to know, in order to decide if they are for you, is WHAT kind of music you listen to...
- If you listen to jazz, instrumentals, blues, rebetika piano, guitar, vocals, and generally non-electronic music (they also work for goa trance :p), then they are a great choice for 50 euros.
- If you want them for your computer and to accompany all the sweet moments of "kagouria" (like Lil Jon, bass, Skrillex, and anything else that pleases 14-year-old friends), then they are NOT intended for this use.

Their volume is very good (they can easily cover environmental sounds) and it doesn't distort no matter how loud you turn it up,
but I repeat, to avoid misunderstandings, they don't have rich bass (the lowest is around 70-80hz).
Personally, I wanted quality at an affordable price and luckily I found it with these speakers!
(I also have a subwoofer, of course, for when I need to hear the entire sound spectrum).

I believe they are ideal for those who want to create a very thin hi-fi system in the living room because you can get these for 50 euros, and an Mp3 player (or even your laptop/mobile) and you have transformed the atmosphere of the space through their crystal-clear sound. :)
