Easy synchronization with the mobile phone.
Quite good accuracy in location. Essentially, when used to locate things outside of Bluetooth range, the smart tag uses the mobile phones of passersby and transmits their location to you. It works perfectly in crowded areas. I use it for my car and so far I can find its location everywhere in Attica.
Advantage is that you can easily change the battery.
Disadvantage is that it only works with Galaxy phones.

  The brand is often accurate even in a street number I can say with minimal exceptions. It records quite well I would say the traffic of the object that has been placed with a also good application of Samsung. However, I found some times when I moved away and in a crowded place left, it did not update the location again for a long time and when I made an immediate update, it gave me a completely irrelevant point quite a few squares away. After the stress and after I gave a command through the application, to notify me for a possible re-taking of the location, it was corrected at the first opportunity within minutes. So four stars because we are talking about a second version that such mistakes are not justified.

I bought 2 and tried one, placing it in my father's car, who goes every day to a well-known supermarket chain and parks in the parking lot, where there is always a lot of people coming and going. For the 2 weeks that I tested it, it barely caught 1 ping every time it was parked for about 2 hours. What I didn't know was what has already emerged, that Google has activated the tracking of mobile devices and other accessories through its Find My Device app on all devices with the Android operating system. But Samsung has decided not to integrate the SmartTag2 into this ecosystem, resulting in it lagging behind other similar devices that have started to be released, such as the tags from Chipolo and Pebblebee. In short, while I would have bought more SmartTag2 devices, now I will probably prefer a tag that works with all Android devices, even if it is (for now) somewhat more expensive.

  I don't know about the battery, but it has 2 modes, one to last longer and maybe be less easy to track, and one for energy efficiency. What bothers me is that with smarttag 1 you could share it and see where you wanted the location, for example with your wife to find where you parked your car. They removed this feature and it's quite a problem, as it limits uses.
