The game is truly a masterpiece but I cannot give it 5 stars mainly because the ps3 version is really the worst. This is a Bethesda game and on the playstation 3 it is one of the worst consoles for optimization. First of all, let's start from the beginning. The story, characters, and quests of the game are wonderfully well-written and full of twists. Atmospheric to the fullest and even though the graphics engine is archaic, it gives a charm to this game and suits it. The Capital Wasteland is presented beautifully with the destroyed buildings, trash, dirt, and rust, here Bethesda is a mother, knows how to create worlds. The music and radio songs make exploration wonderful. Besides that, Bethesda is a mother in technical matters with its games and Fallout 3 on PS3 is really a huge issue. There is frame drop, strong aliasing, freezing, and of course the biggest problem is the increase in the size of the save file with each save. If it reaches over 11mb then due to the ps3 there is a huge issue and the game will crash at any moment due to the mentioned technical issues. Honestly, I couldn't finish the last dlc in the game because my file had reached 13mb and in the end I was seeing slides just before the end. There are some solutions but they are not the best, also it is good to make manual saves and disable auto save so that the size does not increase constantly and to prevent any corruption in the save file and then cry. Why did I choose this version? I chose it because I didn't have any other choice, although the PC version is the best and runs almost everywhere, I don't have a laptop that can run it as I would like. Also, I am obsessed with trophies and I wanted to get the platinum in the game to have it next to 4 and New Vegas.
