The calathea is an indoor plant, can be placed in bright spots but exposure to direct sunlight can cause burns on the leaves. The substrate in which it will be planted needs to have good drainage. Increased humidity levels in the space favor its growth and in case of low humidity in the space, you can place it on a tray with water and stones. Because it prefers slightly moist substrate, you can apply watering before the substrate dries.
