Cable Testers

Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
The product is very good, it does its job correctly and serves anyone working with structured cabling, switch connection recognition, individual cables, etc. The operation can be done either with manual steps or with auto scan. For its price (I bought it for €33.50), I consider it value for money.
The packaging includes, besides the device (main tester + remote), also:
2 x RJ45-to-BNC(F) adapters
2 x RJ45-to-RJ11/RJ12 adapters (plastic covers for the RJ45 ports of the device)
1 x BNC(M)-to-BNC(M) adapter
1 x small cable with RJ45 connectors on both ends
1 x leather case
Pros:
The fact that it checks USB cables, in addition to the (almost obvious) RJ45 & RJ11.
The fact that it can check coaxial BNC cables.
The fact that it comes with a very practical case, which can be attached to a belt.
Cons:
The user manual that accompanies it (I don't see any more detailed online version) is completely basic and is aimed at someone who already knows how cable testers work and how to use them in their own case.
In USB cables, it is limited only to cables up to USB 2.0, which are Standard Type A on one end and Standard Type A or B on the other. Therefore, unfortunately, it does not check Mini/Micro ends, Type C or AB ends, or anything from USB 3.0/3.1.
