The Junior Plus II tent by Panda is lightweight, durable, and stands out mainly for its ease of setup. Suitable for camping, trekking, and mountaineering. Ergonomically designed, made from polyester fabric with a waterproof lining, single layer, 2 doors with mosquito nets, 2 windows measuring 65x72cm with mosquito nets and zipper closure. 

Polyester 190T

T means Thread, which refers to the fiber, and the number reveals the sum of the vertical and horizontal fibers in a square inch of fabric. The larger the Thread, the denser the weave and the greater the durability of the fabric.

What does the waterproof rating on camping tents indicate?

Waterproofing in a tent shows us how much water the outer fabric can repel. It is measured in millimeters (mm) and refers to how many millimeters of a vertical water column (and thus pressure) a square centimeter of fabric can withstand without being penetrated by water.

The higher the degree of waterproofing, the less breathable the fabric is, and thus the warmer the tent. Widely used waterproofing values range from 500mm to 10000mm. Theoretically, any fabric with waterproofing >1000mm is characterized as waterproof. Indicatively, a summer tent can have waterproofing from 500 to 1500mm.
